In this guide we will try to give you a brief introduction to the RISK community, where to find information and how to get involved. Theres a bunch of different platforms, abbreviations and slang that can be hard to understand at first, but dont worry, you will get the hang of it in no time.

The first thing you need to do is to familiar yourself with the different kind of games, tournaments and concepts that exists in our community.
There are a bunch of hidden gems and play styles you might not ever find if you just follow the main stream. Please use this guide as a starting point to explore them.

| 2v2/3v3 | Team games - Players are divided into teams, and the goal is to work together to defeat the opposing team, often using VC and on settings tailored to be as balanced as possible. Usually played as a set of best of 5 games | Team Sabr |
| 1v1 | Head-on duel - A direct confrontation between two players, testing individual skill and strategy, often with manual setup, fog of war and usually at least best of 5 games. | 1v1 Sabr |
Common for all these type of games/events is that they are hosted on Discord. So the very first step you should take is to create yourself a free Discord account and join the Main RISK discord server
