The sabr ranking system was invented by 'sabr555' as an alternative to other official and unofficial rankings. Together with an group of elite players and key members of the community the first version was launched around march 2023 and has been kept updated daily since. The latest version includes an seperate ranking for 1v1 tournaments.
Ranking councils decide on witch tournaments should be included in the ranking, and how many ranking points that should be awarded based on the size and skill level required to advance in each tournament. Points gathered starts to decay after 5 months, and within 24 months they are concidered 0.
Decay is linear, 5% each month from month 5, updated every day, based on tournament end date.
For example, 1000 points in a tournament that ended 15.07.2023, will be worth 950 points 16.12.2023.
After 24 months the point value is 0
