Blitz Calculator
Exact Balanced Blitz odds for stacks up to 500v500: win chance, expected troop losses for both sides, and the full probability distribution of every possible outcome. These are the mathematical probabilities of the Balanced Blitz dice — no simulations, no noise.
Attacker stack = every troop on your territory, the way players call battles: a 4v1 is a 4-stack attacking a single defender. One troop always stays behind, so a stack of 4 rolls 3 troops in the blitz — that is also why the maximum you can lose is one less than your stack.
How these numbers are calculated
RISK: Global Domination's Balanced Blitz does not roll dice round by round — it computes the odds of every possible battle outcome from the true dice math, then reshapes them: win/lose chances of 5% or less round to certainty, the luckiest and unluckiest 10% of outcomes are trimmed away, and likely outcomes are boosted. One result is then drawn from that final distribution. This calculator shows you that exact final distribution — every probability is computed, not simulated, so the numbers never wobble.
Because of the 5% rounding, true guaranteed attacks exist: see the Blitz 100% chart for how many troops always take a stack of any size. On a capital the defender rolls three dice instead of two, which flips the odds sharply in the defender's favour.
